This autumn, Open Studio is part of Come Draw with Us, MUNCH´s major initiative dedicated to drawing as an artistic practice, a visitor experience, and a fundamental form of expression. Inspired by Edvard Munch’s experimental approach to drawing and the museum’s collection, the project aims to encourage visitors to explore drawing as a meaningful way of experiencing and understanding the world.
Drawing on the Move
We invite you to join a guided tour that combines movement with creative exploration. Participants will be provided with drawing materials and, together with one of MUNCH’s dedicated educators, will move through selected exhibitions in the museum. Along the way, visitors will be given short drawing exercises connected to the artworks and the surrounding environment. The exercises are simple and open-ended, inviting participants to observe, interpret, and express their own impressions of the art and the space.
